10 Jun Covid 19 update

We thought it would be useful to provide an update on the services that Sew Special Soft Furnishings is able to offer, given the current situation we are facing with Covid-19.

At the moment we are unable to offer our usual in home consultations. Instead, we have found an alternative solution which works really well and includes the option of an initial video conference call or telephone call and the delivery of samples to your door for you to select from (locally to us). This means that we can discuss all the usual things and we can gain an understanding of what you are looking for in your project.  We can guide you through taking the measurements and then put together a quotation and follow the normal process as laid out in the second blog.

If we need to visit your home at any time we will of course comply with the regulations of wearing face protection and using antibacterial gel as well as handwashing, while observing the social distancing rules. We are also happy to wipe down any surfaces we touch with an antibacterial spray to try and minimise the spread of any germs.

When the fitter visits your home to install your curtains, blinds, poles or tracks, he will also take the same precautions. If you are unsure about anything please feel free to ask before we make a visit to your property. As with everything we do,our customers are at the heart of our service, so we are keen to ensure we play our role in keeping you safe and well and we will continue to follow all the guidelines provided by the government.  Thank you and stay safe.
