About This Project

Roman Blind in Mawsley, near Kettering, Northamptonshire

Brief:

Roman blind at a window in a kitchen which had been recently updated following a house move.

During our initial consultation we discussed the fabric which the client had seen and I was able to source a swatch and subsequently the fabric from one of my suppliers. We opted to install this blind within the recess to allow space for items on the windowsill and also to be placed further back away from the sink and any potential water splashes. Due to the width of the window we needed joins in the blind and we were able to hide those within the coloured lines of the pattern.

We make all our roman blinds with a layer of interlining between the fabric and the lining to give the finished product that extra hint of luxury. We use a headrail with child safety features in line with the latest regulations. The client was really happy with the end result.
