The client approached me to create something bespoke. Fabric needed to be fire-retardant, printed in the brand colours and show the logo clearly in the centre. Keeping out the cold draught and blocking the view behind the building were also considerations. A roman blind made with bespoke printed fabric, with fire-retardant interlining to conserve energy, seemed the way forward.
Measurements were taken and the specification was agreed. Sample swatches depicting the exact colours, layout and fabric quality were printed and the client selected their preferred option. Fabric was then bespoke printed and the roman blind created. A made-to-measure header rail was chosen to reflect the usage level and child safety devices were naturally added to the roman blind.
Bespoke fitting pieces were made to enable the blind to be fitted to the ceiling, due to the protruding bars, preventing a fixing to the window frame.
Feedback from the client included …. ‘’We’re very pleased with the blind thank you……. Thanks for getting this sorted!’’
There is even some fabric left ready to fit the blind at the next shop, wherever that may be.
